How to Sync Your Binance Futures Trades to Pulsor
Step-by-step guide to connecting your Binance Futures account with Pulsor for automatic trade import, analytics, and AI-powered insights.
Why Sync Your Trades?
If you trade on Binance Futures, you already have a complete history of every position you've opened and closed. The problem is that Binance's built-in analytics are limited — you get basic P&L, but no behavioral insights, no strategy analysis, and no AI feedback.
By syncing your Binance trades to Pulsor, you get:
- Automatic trade import — no manual data entry, no CSV exports
- Advanced analytics — win rate, profit factor, drawdown, equity curves, session analysis
- AI-powered insights — pattern detection, strategy suggestions, and performance coaching
- All your trades in one place — combine Binance data with manual entries from other platforms
What You'll Need
- A Binance account with Futures trading enabled
- A Pulsor account (free plan works)
- A Binance API key with read-only permissions
Step 1: Create a Read-Only API Key on Binance
Security is paramount. You should never give a third-party app full trading permissions. Pulsor only needs read access to import your trade history.
- Log in to Binance
- Go to Account → API Management
- Click Create API and choose System generated
- Give it a name like "Pulsor Read Only"
- Complete 2FA verification
- Important: disable all permissions except Enable Reading
- ❌ Enable Spot & Margin Trading — OFF
- ❌ Enable Futures — OFF
- ❌ Enable Withdrawals — OFF
- ✅ Enable Reading — ON
- Optionally, restrict to your IP address for extra security
- Copy your API Key and Secret Key
Security note: Pulsor never places, modifies, or closes trades on your behalf. We only read your trade history. Your funds are safe.
Step 2: Connect Binance in Pulsor
- Open Pulsor and go to Settings → Platform Connections
- Click Connect Platform and choose Binance Futures
- Paste your API Key and Secret Key
- Click Verify & Connect
Pulsor will validate the keys and test the connection. If everything is correct, you'll see a success confirmation.
Step 3: Import Your Trade History
Once connected, Pulsor begins importing your Binance Futures trade history.
- Initial sync pulls your recent trade history
- Ongoing sync checks for new closed positions periodically
- Trades appear in your journal automatically with all details: entry, exit, size, P&L, fees, timestamps
You don't need to do anything — trades flow in automatically.
Step 4: Explore Your Analytics
After your trades are imported, head to the Dashboard to see your performance:
- Equity Curve — visualize your account growth over time
- Win Rate & Profit Factor — core performance metrics
- Pair Breakdown — which trading pairs perform best for you
- Session Analysis — performance by time of day
- Drawdown Analysis — understand your risk exposure
These analytics update automatically as new trades sync.
Step 5: Get AI Insights
This is where Pulsor shines. With your trade data imported, AI can:
- Analyze your trading patterns — "You perform 40% better on BTC during London hours"
- Generate a strategy based on your actual trades — not generic advice, but data-driven rules that match your style
- Coach you on mistakes — "Your average loss increases 2x when you trade more than 5 times per day"
- Review your setups — upload a chart screenshot and get AI feedback before entering a trade
Troubleshooting
"API key validation failed"
- Double-check that Reading permission is enabled
- Make sure you copied the full key (no trailing spaces)
- If you restricted by IP, confirm your current IP is allowed
"No trades found"
- Pulsor imports Futures trades — make sure you've traded on Binance Futures (not Spot)
- Recently opened positions won't appear until they're closed
- The initial sync may take a minute to process
"Sync seems delayed"
- Pulsor syncs periodically, not in real-time. Trades typically appear within a few minutes of closing
- You can trigger a manual sync from Settings → Platform Connections
What About Other Platforms?
Pulsor also supports:
- MetaTrader 4/5 — import trade history via HTML or CSV file export
- CSV / Excel import — for any platform, upload your trade history manually
More direct integrations are coming. If your platform isn't listed, let us know.
