Analytics & Metrics
Understand every metric and insight card available on your Pulsor Metrics dashboard.
Overview
The Metrics page is your trading command center. It displays real-time performance data calculated from your trade history, with over a dozen insight cards covering everything from basic win rate to behavioral pattern analysis.
All metrics are calculated directly from your trades — they update automatically as new trades are added or synced. For AI-generated narrative insights and recommendations, see AI Insights.
Core Metrics
Win Rate
The percentage of your profitable trades. Calculated as: winning trades / total trades × 100.
Profit Factor
Total gross profit divided by total gross loss. Above 1.0 means net profitable.
Average R-Multiple
Your average return measured in units of risk (R). If you risk $100 and average $150 in gains, your average R is 1.5.
Equity Curve
A line chart showing your account balance over time, starting from your configured starting balance.
Performance Score
A composite metric weighing win rate, profit factor, risk management, consistency, and discipline into a single score.
Breakdown Cards
Top Pairs
Ranks your traded instruments by profitability, win rate, and trade count.
Session Breakdown
Performance segmented by trading session (Asian, London, New York).
Direction Breakdown
Compares long vs. short performance — win rate, average P&L, and trade count for each direction.
Account Growth
Monthly or weekly account growth rate.
Wins vs. Losses
Visual breakdown of your winning and losing trades with average amounts.
Insight Cards
These insight cards analyze your trade data to surface patterns. They require a minimum trade count for statistically meaningful results.
Money Leak Detection
Identifies specific instruments, sessions, or setup types where you consistently lose money.
Diminishing Returns
Analyzes performance by trade sequence within each day. Finds the point where additional trades start losing money — your overtrading threshold.
Drawdown Analysis
Breaks down your drawdown events — frequency, depth, and recovery duration.
Risk Consistency
Evaluates how stable your position sizing is over time. Flags periods where sizing deviates from your norm.
Risk vs. Outcome
Maps your risk levels against trade outcomes to show whether you're sizing appropriately relative to results.
Over-Risk Detection
Flags trades where your position size exceeded your normal risk parameters.
Time of Day Performance
Granular performance breakdown by hour of day.
Day of Week Patterns
Performance by weekday — reveals consistent day-specific strengths and weaknesses.
Plan Impact
For trades linked to strategies, shows how plan adherence correlates with outcomes.
Rule Adherence
Tracks checklist completion rate over time and correlates it with trade results.

Tips for Using Analytics
- Review weekly — check your metrics every weekend as part of your routine
- Focus on trends — a single bad trade doesn't matter; a pattern of bad trades does
- Act on insights — when a card flags a money leak or overtrading pattern, take action
- Compare periods — look at 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day windows to spot improvements or regressions
