Quick Start

Set up your Pulsor account, add your first trade, and see your analytics — in under 5 minutes.

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Go to pulsor.space and click Try Pulsor
  2. Sign up with your email or use Google/GitHub OAuth
  3. Verify your email address

Step 2: Complete Onboarding

The onboarding wizard walks you through a quick profile setup:

  1. Experience level — beginner, intermediate, or advanced
  2. Trading style — scalping, day trading, swing trading, or position trading
  3. Market — crypto, forex, stocks, etc.
  4. Primary goal — what you want to achieve with Pulsor
  5. Risk per trade — your typical risk tolerance

After the profile steps, you'll see available plans and can choose to start with the free tier or upgrade. Then you'll have the option to import existing trades.

Step 3: Set Up a Trading Account

A trading account in Pulsor maps to one of your real broker/exchange accounts. Go to Accounts and create one:

  • Name — something descriptive like "Binance Main"
  • Platform — select your exchange or broker
  • Starting balance — your initial balance (used for equity curve calculations)

Step 4: Add Your First Trades

You have several options:

Connect Binance Futures (Automatic Sync)

If you trade on Binance Futures, connect your account for automatic trade import:

  1. Go to SettingsAccounts and select your account
  2. Add a read-only API key from Binance
  3. Trades sync automatically as positions close

Import from File

For other platforms (MetaTrader 4/5, or any broker with export):

  1. Go to TradesImport
  2. Upload a CSV, Excel, or HTML file
  3. Map columns to Pulsor fields
  4. Preview and confirm

Add Manually

Click Add Trade to open the trade creation wizard with three steps:

  1. Trade — select instrument, direction, set risk/reward, entry/exit details
  2. Strategy — link to a strategy and complete the pre-trade checklist
  3. Mindset — add tags, select emotion, note any mistakes (FOMO, revenge trading, etc.)

Step 5: Explore Your Dashboard

After adding trades, your dashboard shows:

  • Recent trades — your latest journal entries
  • Key metrics — win rate, total P&L, profit factor
  • Equity curve — your account growth over time

Step 6: Check Your Metrics

Navigate to Metrics to see the full analytics dashboard. Even with a small number of trades, you'll see win rate, profit factor, pair breakdowns, and session analysis. As your trade count grows, more insight cards unlock — including money leak detection, overtrading analysis, and risk consistency scoring.
